As the founding director of Tom & Co Legal, Tom brings extensive legal experience and an unwavering commitment to compassionate, effective legal representation. Honoured as the 2023 Western Australian Lawyer of the Year by The Law Society of Western Australia and recipient of the Asian Australian Lawyers Association (AALA) Western Australia Branch Award 2022 for Leadership and Diversity, Tom has established himself as a prominent advocate in the Perth legal community.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Notre Dame Australia and is fluent in English, Thai, and Khmer, enabling him to serve Perth's diverse multicultural community. As a disability-led practice, Tom & Co Legal reflects his personal commitment to accessibility and inclusion in legal services.

Beyond his legal practice, Tom serves as Board Chair of DADAA (Disability in the Arts, Disadvantage in the Arts), demonstrating his dedication to advocacy for people with disabilities. His work focuses on family law, criminal law, and commercial law, with particular expertise in representing clients from diverse backgrounds and those facing disadvantage.

Aashini is a dedicated family lawyer who brings both academic excellence and genuine compassion to her practice. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of New South Wales (2017-2019) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Australian Catholic University (2020-2022), graduating with a strong 6.43 GPA.

During her studies, Aashini was an active member of the Mackillop Law Students Society and served as Treasurer of the Mackillop Campus Student Association. Her academic achievements were recognised with the ACU Academic Excellence Scholarship in both 2021 and 2022. She was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia.

Fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi, Aashini is committed to providing accessible legal services to Perth's diverse community. Her background in criminology combined with her expertise in dispute resolution allows her to approach family law matters with unique insight. Aashini's empathetic approach ensures clients feel supported throughout what can often be challenging legal proceedings.

Drishti brings extensive legal qualifications and international experience to her role as Senior Paralegal. She holds a BA Economics (Honours) from Delhi University, followed by an LLB from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University (2016), and an LLM from the University of Cambridge (2017).

Currently completing the Legal Profession Admission Board (LPAB) requirements in New South Wales and awaiting admission to the bar, Drishti is working towards becoming a dual-qualified lawyer across jurisdictions. Fluent in English and Hindi, she provides invaluable support to our legal team.

Her combination of academic excellence, international legal education, and practical experience ensures that every matter is handled with meticulous attention to detail. Drishti's expertise in legal research, document preparation, and case management contributes significantly to successful client outcomes.

Sarah supports our legal team with research, documentation, and client communication, contributing to the smooth operation of our practice. Her thoroughness and dedication ensure high-quality service delivery.

Claudia assists with case preparation and administrative support, ensuring clients receive efficient and professional service. Her attention to detail and client-focused approach enhance our team's effectiveness.

Gaurav brings a unique combination of legal expertise and business management skills to Tom & Co Legal. He completed his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in India in 2015 and practiced as a litigation lawyer for six years, gaining extensive courtroom experience and a deep understanding of legal practice.

Furthering his business acumen, Gaurav is completing his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Curtin University, combining his legal background with contemporary business management knowledge.

Following his legal career in India, he gained valuable experience in legal recruitment, helping connect legal professionals with opportunities across Australia. As Business Manager, Gaurav ensures the firm operates efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of client service. Fluent in English and Hindi, he helps create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all clients. His unique blend of legal practice, recruitment experience, and business management expertise makes him an invaluable member of the Tom & Co Legal team.
